Related Tools
- Digital Multimeter
- Analog Mechanical Watch
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Hexagon Socket Screwdriver
- Three-phase 380V AC Power Supply
- 380V Three-phase Asynchronous Motor
Method/Steps
-
Connecting the Inverter:
- Connect the three-phase power supply and the three-phase motor to the inverter.
- Upon powering on, if a fault code 16 (ground fault) appears and cannot be reset, possible causes include a damaged power board or module.
- Remove the module to check if the inverter reports fault code 18 (sensor failure), which can be temporarily shielded.
- After shielding, recheck if the inverter still reports fault code 16. If it does, the module is likely intact, and the issue lies with the power board.
- Alternatively, inspect the module for any obvious burn marks, as their absence usually indicates good condition.
- Use the analog mechanical watch to trigger the IGBT firing angle and observe module conduction to assess the IGBT's health.
-
Fault Code 16 During Operation:
- If fault code 16 does not appear upon initial power-on but emerges once the panel is running, this typically indicates a faulty module.
- Replace the module and inspect the drive circuit for any irregularities.
-
Possible Motherboard Issue:
- In both aforementioned scenarios, another potential issue could be a faulty motherboard.
- While this situation is rare, it is not unheard of.
- Always prioritize testing with a known good motherboard to rule out this possibility.
Precautions
- Exercise caution when powering on equipment, especially when measuring line voltages.
- Take detailed notes to facilitate future troubleshooting.
