The ABB ACS580 series AC Inverter is designed for precise speed control of a 0.55kW (0.75HP), 400V, 3-phase motor. It can handle up to 1.8A under high overload conditions or support a maximum power of 0.75kW (1HP) with 2.5A when Fan/Pump rated. This inverter operates in VxF, Sensorless Vector, or Full Closed-loop Flux Vector modes, providing versatile control options. Additionally, when fitted with an optional Encoder Feedback card, it enables even more precise closed-loop control. The ACS580 efficiently converts fixed-frequency three-phase 400V input to variable frequency, allowing seamless speed regulation for standard AC induction motors.
